We, the family of Gerry Hannon, express our sincere gratitude to all who offered support during this very difficult time. Special thanks to Dr. John Ritter, Sharon Baron and Claudette Taylor of the Palliative Care Unit and Wendy Simpson of the Cancer Center for providing exceptional care. We are extremely grateful for the friendship and compassion of the Stott, Campbell and Coombes families who helped carry us through this sad time. Our thanks to Father James Oliver who visited Gerry at home during his illness and Father Will MacPherson for the funeral mass, visits to our home and comforting words. Thank you to the pall bearers Brean Stott, Charlie Campbell, Gerard Coombes, Brian Murphy, Brendon MacQuaid and Doug MacKenzie. Thank you to all who participated in the Mass including altar servers, readers, gift bearers and Eucharistic Ministers as well as the Lazarus Committee for the reception following the Mass. Thank you to Wendy Lynk and Chant’s Funeral Home for their gentle guidance. To all who offered support through visits, food, sympathy cards, Mass cards and donations, we are forever grateful.
