Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, Mrs. Susie Holmes, aged 89 years of Shearstown. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Mary Grace Badcock; husband Chesley Holmes; sons William and Chesley Holmes; brother Wilson Badcock; son-in-law Brendan Delaney; sister-in-law Lizzie Badcock. Leaving to mourn: two daughters, Elizabeth Delaney and Sandra Edstrom; three brothers, John Badcock, Clarence (Maggie) Badcock and Allan (Goldie) Badcock; eight grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Moore's Funeral Home, Bay Roberts. Visitation Monday 10 a.m. to noon. Funeral service to take place on Monday, Nov. 1, 2010 at 2 p.m. from St. Mark's Anglican Church, Shearstown. Interment in the St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery, Shearstown. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
