Stephenville

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Vera Marche announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at the age of 68 years. She will be sadly missed by her six brothers: Michael (Linda) Marche of Stephenville, Gerard (Ann) Marche of St. John's, Duncan (Irene) Marche of Port au Port East, Fintan Marche of Stephenville, Jackie Marche of Port au Port East and Brian (Sue) Marche of Georgetown, Ontario; five sisters: Mary (Leroy) Norman of Tennessee, Terry (Walt) Burdick of New York, Cathy Bobowski (Tom Murray) of Port au Port East, Liz (Gerald) Rhyner of Port au Port East and Shirley Marche (Aubrey Companion) of Brampton, Ontario and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Angus and Clementine Marche; twin sister, Rita Marche; brother, Jimmy Marche and his wife, Emma; sisters: Melanie Marche and Bernadette MacWilliams. Friends may call at the Maria Regina Parish, Port au Port East, on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, November 4th at 10:00 a.m. at the Maria Regina Parish, Port au Port East, with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Port au Port East. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell's Funeral Home, Stephenville.
