The passing of Reginald "Reg" Maurice Chedore of Fredericton, NB, husband of Ila (Merrill) Chedore occurred on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 23, 1931 in Bocabec, NB, he was the son of the late Roland and Alice (Holt) Chedore. Reg worked for Capital Window Cleaners. He was a member of Smythe Street Cathedral. In addition to his wife, Reg is survived by his daughters, Wendy (David) McKinley of Fredericton, NB and Diane (Andy) Hachey of South Hampton, NB; sons, Neil (Chung) of Edmonton, AB and Daniel (Altenna) of Rusagonis, NB; 12 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Beatrice (Albert) Cole of Brampton, ON; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Allan Chedore; infant daughter, Donna and two infant brothers.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, November 4, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Smythe Street Cathedral on Friday, November 5, 2010 at 1 pm with Rev. Verner Drost officiating. Interment will take place in Prince William Cemetery.
