It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Betty Ingraham. Betty passed away on Oct. 29, 2010, at the age of 62, in Ontario.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Hennietta MacPherson.
Betty was the beloved wife of the late Jake Ingraham (1999). She is the loving mother of Kim Ingraham, loving grandmother of Calvin and Joshua Thomas. She is also survived by sisters, Doreen (Michael) Campbell, Virginia MacNeil (Bruce), Debbie (John) Currie, Bonita MacPherson; brothers, Daniel (Shirley) MacPherson, Michael (Mary) MacPherson; several nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Betty was also predeceased by her son, Jerry Ingraham (1992) and sister, Beverly MacPhee.
Cremation has taken place and arrangements entrusted to V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve St., Glace Bay (902-849-4505). Interment will take place 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, in Greenwood Cemetery, Glace Bay.
