Mary Bernard
The passing of Mary (Mitchell) Bernard (Language Carrier) of Tobique First Nation, NB occurred on November 3, 2010 surrounded by her loving family at the Hotel Dieu Hospital at the age of 80. Born on Tobique First Nation she was the daughter of the late George and Marion Bernard. Mary is survived by her two daughters Imelda (David) Perley and Rosalie Smyth of Tobique First Nation; three sons Donald (Jean) Paul Jr. of Tobique First Nation, Dana (Giselle) Jaworski of Grand Falls and Robert Paul of Georgia; three brothers Charles Bernard of Caribou, Eldon (Della) Bernard and Sylvester (Bonnie) Bernard of Tobique First Nation; two sisters Regis Waloven of New York and Sylvia Craft of Tobique First Nation; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Mary was very active in her traditional ways.
Resting at 4 Perley Rd. Tobique First Nation with visiting hours starting on Wednesday November 3rd at 5 pm until time of service. Funeral service will be held on Friday November 5th at 11 am from St. Ann's Catholic Church. Interment in St. Ann's Cemetery.
