Malcolm Campbell Johnston of Hampstead, North Carolina, died Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at New Hanover Regional Medical Centre.
He was born in Prince Edward Island on February 13, 1931, son of the late Louis Archibald Johnston and Annie McGowan Johnston and was preceded in death by his son Donald Andrew Johnston.
Surviving is his wife of 55 years, Jacqueline Johnston; daughter, Susan Johnston Barganiee and husband Chip of Birmingham, AL; son, Rev. Paul Douglas Johnston and wife Rev. Carey Jo Johnston of Bobcaygeon, Ontario; grandson, Drew Johnston; brothers, Louis Johnston, Douglas Johnston and James Johnston all of Montague, P.E.I.
Services will be held at a later date in Canada.
