Helen E. MacFarlane of Fredericton, NB passed away peacefully at Oromocto Hospital on Monday, November 1, 2010. Helen was born in Springfield, NB, a daughter of the late Austin and Margaret (King) Graham. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her daughter, Margaret Faye Childs, granddaughters Rachael Shearer and April Shearer, her husband, Earlen MacFarlane and brothers Arthur and Franklin Graham. A true "lady" in every sense of the word, she will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Deborah Shearer, Dawn MacDonald and Mark Childs; great grandchildren, Nichole Shearer, Erin and Liam MacDonald, Connor and Christopher Childs; great great granddaughter, Callie Shearer; her step-children, Shirley Bird and Ronald MacFarlane (Joan).
Visitation will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic on Saturday, November 6, 2010 from 12 noon until 2 p.m. when service will be held in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Rhyno officiating. Interment will follow in Otis Cemetery.
