Age 85 years. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Victor F. Tucker of St. Philips, who died on June 16, 2009 at St. Patrick’s Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his loving wife Agnes, mother and father Edmund and Effie Tucker of St. Philips, sister Evelyn (Clarke) and brothers Alex, Horace and Wallace. Leaving to mourn: Victor Tucker (Loretta) and grandchildren Cordell (Kelly), Paul (Margaret), Paula Dykstra (Jeff), Claudette Reddick (Ron), Claudine Cole (Derrick), Douglas Tucker (Judy) and grandchildren; Shawn (Cheryl), Joanne and Lisa (Brad); Moya Tucker (Warren) and grandchildren Tanya Ryan (Richard) and Stacy (Roger); Carol Budden (David) and grandchildren David, Jason and Vanessa (Vince); Barry Tucker (Eleanor) and grandchildren Angela Burke (Steve) and Jessica; Mac Tucker (Sandy) and grandchildren Bradley and Sarah. Also leaving to mourn sisters: Fern Butler and Bernie Butler and brother Edmund Macdonald Tucker; 17 great-grandchildren and a wide circle of family and friends. Special thanks to nephew, Dr. Roger Butler and niece Lana Ryan and a very special thank you to the staff of St. Patrick’s Nursing Home. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Thursday 10-12, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 10-1. Funeral service to take place on Friday, June 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Philip’s Anglican Church with interment to follow at St. Philip’s Anglican Cemetery.
