HATFIELD, GORDON F. – 90, of Eastern Avenue, Parrsboro passed away Saturday, June 13, 2009 at South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro. Born in Port Greville, he was a son of the late Gordon B. and Mabel (Fletcher) Hatfield. He was a blueberry farmer and lumberman. He is survived by a niece, Shirley Fromson (Doug), North Vancouver, BC; 2 grandnieces; 5 grandnephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Evelyn Pettis and Bona Morrison. Friends and family are invited to a graveside memorial service on Friday (June 19, 2009) at 2 p.m. in Riverbank Cemetery, Port Greville, Rev. Greg Doyle officiating, with a reception immediately following at FPW Community Hall, Port Greville. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
