We, the family of the late Bernie Jessome, wish to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to our family, friends and neighbours who gave us love and support during Dad’s illness and passing. Thank you for your laughter and tears but most of all for the endless stories about Dad - he was a character! To all who sent food to our homes during Dad’s illness and passing, who stayed with us at the hospital, who travelled to be with us, visited Dad in the hospital, attended the wake and funeral, sent memorial donations, mass cards, flowers, sympathy cards, monetary donations, telephoned and visited our homes - your thoughtfulness will always be remembered. A special thank you to Karen Hoben for singing for Dad - that was his best day! Thank you to Dr. Beth MacCormick, Palliative Care and to the 2nd floor of the Northside General Hospital for your wonderful care. To the readers, gift bearers, choir and servers - thank you. To the pallbearers, Robert Tilley, Bobby Gerrow, Cyril Tobin, Jackie, Steven and Mark Hoben - Dad would be so proud! Thank you to Fr. Hughie MacNeil, Fr. JJ MacDonald and Sister Lorraine for visiting Dad while in hospital. To Fr. Jake Andrea for making the funeral service so special and humorous - Dad wouldn’t have wanted it any other way! Thank you to St. Pius X CWL for providing a lovely luncheon. A special thank you to Bob Francis and Darcy Rideout for your care and understanding. To those who couldn’t be with us, we know you kept us in your hearts. Words cannot express our deep gratitude and blessing for having such wonderful people in our lives.
