It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of our brother Francis, on June 9, 2009.
He was the son of the late Alex R. and Elizabeth (Farrell) MacNeil of Big Pond.
He was predeceased by brothers, Malcolm, Pius, Hughie and John, sisters, Mary and Bernadette.
Left to mourn is his wife Ruth, six children and 10 grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his five sisters, Theresa, Irene, Christy, Peggy, Charlotte in Cape Breton; one brother, Stan in Calgary; and many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
We will always remember his positive attitude in spite of all his adversities and his keen sense of humour which he kept until the end.
Francis, dear brother, you were one of a kind, rest in peace.
Cremation has taken place, burial in Hamilton, Ont. A Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
