BATTCOCK, Stephen– Brigus South, Newfoundland, Jan. 1, 1932 - Nov. 12, 2010. Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit, Leonard A. Miller Centre, on November 12, 2010, Stephen Battcock, aged 78 years. Predeceased by his father Gregory, mother Margaret Doran, brothers John and Joseph, sisters Mary (Tilley) and Ester (Gilmore). Left with loving memories his sister Dorothy Kullman (Walter); brothers: Bill (Anne), Ed (Ann), Ron (Rosie), a large number of nieces, nephews and their families and friends in Brigus South, Cape Broyle and Goose Bay, special hunting buddy Dinnie Stratton, friend and homecare worker Janet Hawkins and his caregivers in the Goulds. Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls. Visitation Saturday, November 13th from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., Sunday, November 14th from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, November 15th at 2:30 p.m. from Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Cape Broyle. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Cape R.C. Cemetery, Cape Broyle.
