O’KEEFE, Ruby Jeannette (nee Aitkin)– Passed peacefully away following a brave battle with cancer on Friday, November 12, 2010. Predeceased by her parents Alex and Ethel Aitkin. Leaving to mourn her loving husband Pat; three children: Pat (Lori), Susanne and Chris (Patti); four beautiful grandchildren: Patrick, Ashley, Ciara and Colin; sister Pearl Brown; aunts: Mary Stevenson and Laura Aitkin; sisters-in-law: Laura Cardwell, Mick Christie, Bertha Aymond, Sharon Byrne (Otto) and Beth O'Keefe; special neighbour Donna Sears; nephews, nieces, cousins and many other relatives and friends including her cabin, card and dart buddies. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mt. Pearl, with visitation on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at Mary Queen of the World Parish on Monday, November 15th at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
