Marie-Anne Leger, 94, wife of the late Léandre Leger of Résidence Pascal Poirier, Shediac, formerly of Haute-Aboujagane, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2010 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born December 8, 1915 in Haute-Aboujagane, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Zélica (Boudreau) Cormier. She is survived by her two sons: Roméo and Normand; a sister, Stella Gautreau, a brother, Olivier, her special grandson, Robert (Theresa), also many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she is also predeceased by four sons: Paul, Edmond, Ronald and Harris; her brothers and sisters: Pélagie, Sara, Irène, Léandre, Mélas, and Dominique.
At her request, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Sacré-Coeur R.C. Church, Haute-Aboujagane, on Friday, November 19, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. A contribution to a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated.
