At his residence in Charlottetown on Thursday, June 18, 2009, of David Wallace Murphy, formerly of St. Mary's Road, age 56 years. Brother of Leo (Anna), Sturgeon; Shirley (Charlie) MacKinnon, St. Mary's Road; Betty (Fred) Young, Gladstone; and Louis, Ontario. Special friend of Val Murphy. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Irene (Collins) Murphy and brother, Jackie. Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home from where the service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment in the St. Paul's Parish Cemetery, Sturgeon. Visitation: Monday 7-9 p.m. only. If so desired, memorials to St. Paul's Parish Cemetery would be appreciated.
