Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, November 14, 2010, Myrtle V. Pilgrim of Carbonear, age 81 years. Predeceased by husband: Edward; infant son: George; parents: Henry Thomas and Alice Clarke; brothers: Clarence (Beatrice) and Alfred; sister: Iva (Douglas). Left to mourn, one daughter: Karen Milley (Marston), Carbonear; one son: Calvin (Cavell), Bay Roberts; three grandchildren: Kurt (Amy), Vickie (Tim) and Bruce (Kelly); one great-grandchild: Jaden; brother: Edward (Dolly) Clarke, Carbonear; sisters-in-law: Maisie Clarke, Carbonear, Nina Nelson, Florida, USA, Doreen (Norman) Parsons, Gander, Dorothy Clarke, Kaye O’Flaherty and Frances Pilgrim (Janet) all off Ontario and Marie (Ken) Tiley, Carbonear; brother-in-law: Bonnell (Alma) Pilgrim, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service took place on Tuesday, Nov. 16 at the Salvation Army Citadel, Carbonear . Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Carbonear.
