Passed peacefully away on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at the Health Sciences Centre, age 67 years. Predeceased by parents Barbara and Wesley Powell. Gerri will be remembered and sadly missed by loving husband Bill; son Brad and daughter Barbie. Gerri is survived by brothers: Colin and Garland and sisters: Margaret and Naomi; sisters-in-law: Lily, Mildred and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Sunday, June 21 at 2:30 p.m. at Good Shepherd United Church in Happy Adventure. Interment at Eastport Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Daffodil Place.
