Kathleen M. Collier, 92, of Sussex, passed away at her home on Tuesday November 16, 2010. Born in Turtle Creek, she was a daughter of the late Jordan and Minnie (Mahar) Carson. She was a member of the Sussex Seniors. Kathleen is survived by her daughters: Sharron Adams (Reginald) of Cambridge Narrows, and Rita Davidson (Bob) of Sussex; her sons: Ronald Collier and John Collier (Marie), all of Quispamsis, and Vernon Collier (Heather) of Mississauga; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Kathleen was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents, Kathleen was predeceased by her husband, John H. Collier, and her daughter, Marilyn Hodgin.
There will be no visitation at Kathleen’s request. The funeral service will be held on Friday November 19, 2010 at 2 pm with Rev. Philip Penny presiding, in Armstrong’s Funeral Home, 33 Russell Street, Petitcodiac, NB. Interment will be held in The Glades’ Baptist Church Cemetery.
