Rector, Theodore “Ted” Dexter – 52, passed away November 16, 2010 at his home in Dartmouth. Born in Truro, he was a son of Muriel Smith and the late Dexter Rector. Ted’s lifelong passion was his love for his family and his Harley Davidson motorcycles. His friendliness and charm was always evident wherever he went. He was very proud of his work with Maritime Roofing. He is survived by daughters, Natasha and Shelby Rector, sons, Jason (Mindy), Harley, all of Truro; grandchildren, Dominic, Brendan, Payton, Connor, Keegan and Lucas; sister, Cherie (Brian) MacDonald; three nieces and a nephew; several cousins, aunts, uncles and great-aunts. No visitation by request. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 20th at 1:00 pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Rev. Larry Harrison officiating.
