September 5, 1953 - October 14, 2010

The family of the late Sheila Ereaut would like to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to all family and friends who offered kindness and support during this very difficult time in the loss of a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt. We deeply appreciate all the beautiful flowers and cards, the visits, prayers, phone calls, e-mails and the many gifts of food and donations.

During the past three years and more especially during the final month of her life, Palliative Care at the WMRH became Sheila’s home away from home. She was truly blessed with exceptional medical care from all staff and doctors at this unit. A heartfelt thank you for the compassion you’ve all shown.

Upon entering the hospital, she had a beloved family member or friend at her bedside 24/7, which brought her so much comfort and was so appreciated.

A special thank you to all her broomball buddies, fellow reservists, co-workers at WSD and friends who came from away to attend the funeral and to be with our family.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you all, along with Country Haven Funeral Home, Father Ambrose Hynes, Monsignor Gale, those who served as pallbearers, took part in the service and shared in any way to comfort and make Sheila’s life so fulfilled.

While it is impossible to thank everyone individually, your acts of kindness and compassion will always be remembered.
