Passed away peacefully at the Health Science Centre, St. John’s on Thursday, November 18, 2010, Ada Madeline Fifield (nee Howell) of Wesleyville aged 81 years. Predeceased by her husband Howard, grandaughter Sarah Elizabeth Philpott, sister Elizabeth Dawe, brother Raymond Howell and special friends Maxwell Perry and Olga Sheppard. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her three daughters: Pearl of St.John’s, Carol (Joseph Philpott) of Gander, Kimberly (David Beckham) of North Carolina and her son Claude of Wesleyville; grandchildren Valerie Fifield of Rochester, N.Y., Patricia (Vince Balatbat) of Toronto, Michael and Daniel Philpott of Gander and Oliver Fifield - Beckham of North Carolina; great grandchildren Shaina Fifield, Gino Ercolamento and Kayleigh Balatbat; sisters Dorothy Churchill of Wesleyville,Winnifred Daniels of St. John’s, Kathleen Boland (Jessie Blackmore) of Newtown and Bonita Taylor (Ernest) of Grand Bank; brothers Calvin (Beryl) of Wesleyville, John (Donna) of The Goulds and Lloyd (Edith) of Labrador City and a large circle of neices, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral service took place on Sunday, November 21 from the Jubilee United Church, Wesleyville with Rev. B. Hannon officiating. Interment followed at the Jubilee United Church cemetery, Wesleyville.
