Peacefully at her late residence on Sunday, November 21, 2010, of Dorothy M. Murphy of Charlottetown, age 83 years.
She was predeceased by daughter, Shannon Murphy; son, Eugene Murphy; and their father, Marlyn Murphy. She is survived by daughter, Mary Anne (Mike) Gillis; five loving grandchildren, Laurel (Jevon) MacDonald and Holly Murphy, Kelly, Lindsay and Matthew Gillis; and daughter-in-law, Ivy Murphy.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 Thursday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dorothy's memory may be made to P.E.I. Council of People with Disabilities or P.E.I. Cancer Treatment Centre.
