The memorial mass for Bennett “Ben” John Perry was held from St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Bloomfield, on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, with Father Michel Painchaud officiating. The organist Roger Jeffrey was assisted by the church choir. The readings were given by Terry Perry and Ruby Costain, the prayers of the faithful by Tracey Arthur and the eucharistic ministers were Mary Lynch and Rebecca Badger. Interment was held in St. Anthony’s adjoining cemetery followed by a reception at the home of Rebecca Badger.
Donations in memory of Ben were made to the Canadian Cancer Society including one from Rob Scott Insurance; Heart & Stroke Foundation; Anglican Parish of the Nerepis; Saint John Regional Hospital including one from Facilicorp NB – Logistics. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who attended the visitation at Fundy Funeral Home and those who attended the memorial service in P.E.I. Special thanks to relatives and friends who were so kind to help host and arrange the reception, which followed the interment.
