BENNETT, Gladys M. — Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Saturday, October 11, 2008, Gladys M. Bennett of Blackhead, age 94 years. Predeceased by husband: Frank; great-granddaughter: Emily; infant great-granddaughter; brothers: Charles and Elias; sisters: Ann and Stella. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Miriam Moore, Carbonear and Ann (Ronald) Snook, Clarenville; one son: Raymond (Joan), Mount Pearl; seven grandchildren: Roger (Lynda), Richard (Leang), Anthony (Denise), Gail (Nelson), Peter (Maureen), David and Glenn; nine great-grandchildren: Stacey, Colton, Leslie Ann, Madeleine, Jenna, Tyler, Alex, Christopher and Justine; brothers-in-law: Freeman Bennett and Ross Bennett, St. John’s and Leamond Hopkins, Carbonear; also a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay and from where the funeral service will take place on Monday, October 13 at 2 p.m. Interment in the United Cemetery, Blackhead.
