February 12, 1963 - November 20, 2010

With great sorrow we mourn the passing of a great mother, wonderful wife and loyal friend.

Alice lost her courageous eleven month battle with lung cancer on November 20th with her loving family at her side. We were humbled by the strength she showed and lifted by her never-ending positive attitude.

Special thanks to Dr. Servaas Swart for his continual care and support during this difficult time and heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home. We have the utmost admiration and stand in awe at the dedication and care you show every day.

Alice is survived by her husband of 22 years Stephen, son Andrew, daughter Sarah, sisters Ankie and Gerry, Uncle Ab and Aunt Reit and many special nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

A Celebration of Alice's Life will be held at Schoenings Funeral Home, Sunday, November 28th, at 1:00 p.m.
