Passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2010, Elizabeth Irene LaFitte at the age of 59. A kind, generous and gentle spirit, the life of Elizabeth Irene will be celebrated and lovingly remembered by her son, Caine Tsujimura, BC, siblings, Dermot LaFitte of Hamilton, ON, John (Maureen) LaFitte of Hamilton, ON, Jeanette (Rick) Matheson of New Westminster, BC, Richard (Jean) LaFitte of Calgary, AB, Valda (David) Simmons of St. John's, NL, Joan (Brian) Tucker of Corner Brook, NL, David LaFitte of Corner Brook, NL as well as numerous special nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her father and mother, Emile & Monica (Mitchell) LaFitte, sister, Geraldine Rumbolt, brothers, Gregory & Jerome LaFitte and her sister-in-law Louisa LaFitte. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday, November 26, 2010 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. A memorial service will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, November 26, 2010 at 1 p.m. with Father Ambrose Hynes officiating.
