The death of Hazel B. Beamish of Barnesville, wife of Gerald J. Beamish, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, November 24, 2010. Hazel was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late Louis and Marjorie (Jenkins) Keith. She had been employed at Jack Calps Men Shop until her retirement 12 years ago. She had a great love of birds and animals. She was predeceased by two brothers, Patrick and William Beamish. Besides her husband she is survived by three brothers, George Keith, Bernard (Marjorie) Keith, and Reginald Keith, all of Saint John; one sister, Bette Forgette of Val David, Quebec; several nieces, nephews, and Cousins; best friend, Vi; and good neighbors, Dillon and Ryan Mackay.
Service will be held in Fitzpatrick's Chapel, 100 Waterloo St., on Monday afternoon at two o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations to Romero House-Soup Kitchen; the Animal Rescue League; or St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. www.fitzpatrickfh.com
