Peacefully, at the Community Hospital, O'Leary, on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, of Fred John Ramsay, formerly of Campbellton, aged 91 years, beloved husband of the late Cora (nee Costain). Born in Campbellton, P.E.I., on Jan. 25, 1919, son of Merritt and Ellen (Monaghan) Ramsay. Born again on Feb. 7, 1986. Dear father of Eldon (Elaine), O'Leary; Lana (Theo) Dumville, Dunblane; Robert (Dolores), Bloomfield; Zelma (Vincent) Jones, Quispansis, N.B.; Ralph (Patricia), Campbellton; Linda (Allan) Wallace, Coleman; Arlene (Wilbert) Thibodeau, Bloomfield; Edgar (Stephanie), Campbellton; Brent (Helen), Mill Road. Father-in-law of Brian (Verna) MacDonald, Cornwall. Cherished grandfather of 21 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. Brother of Evelyn Boyles, Pictou, N.S.; Thelma (Lorne) Shaw, Campbellton; Olive Ramsay, Tyne Valley; Ruby Gillis, Ontario. Brother-in-law of Ruth Shaw, Canoe Cove; Esther Wells, Alberton; and Ken Costain, Woodstock, N.B.; Julie Costain, Sherbrooke; and Jean Costain, Summerside. Predeceased by daughter Sybil, brothers Melvin and Calvin. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary, with visiting hours on Friday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Saturday in the chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the Rosebank Gospel Hall Cemetery. Memorials to the Parkinson Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated
