Passed peacefully away after a brief illness at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Sunday, November 28, 2010 surrounded by loving family and friends. Joseph (Leo) Osbourne, age 81 years. Former Terra Nova Tel Operator and retired Bell Aliant Employee and Pioneer. Left with loving and thoughtful memories are his wife of 54 years Cecelia (nee Barry); sons Richard and Alan (Rose); daughter Deborah Ann (Brian Peyton); grandchildren Mark (Jennifer) and Dennis; brothers Richard (Doris) William (Jackie); sisters Anita Osbourne and Helen Fuller; sister-in-law Genny (Randy Sample), Florida; special friends Bruce and Barbara Oakley; and his two special pets Willow and Pepperkins. As well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday from 7 - 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will take place on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patrick's Church. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
