Passed peacefully away at the Lions Manor Nursing Home, Placentia, on Nov. 28, 2010, Carmel Pomeroy, aged 89 years. Predeceased by her husband Albert, five sisters, Isabelle, Lena, Madge, Loretta and Patricia, four brothers, Ignatius, Peter, John, and William. Leaving to mourn one daughter, Shirley, (Jim), one son, Austin, (Susie), five grandchildren, Tracey, Jamie, Annette, Gail and Mark, eight great-grandchildren, Ryan, Ethan, Colby, Chace, Bridgette, Austin, Brooke and Evan. A large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Mahers Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation on Monday and Tuesday from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church Placentia, 11 a.m. on Wednesday Dec. 1. Interment to follow at Fr.
