Peacefully on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at the Starwood Nursing Home, Ottawa at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Eric. Loving mother of Brian and Terry. Dear sister of Marion Simpson and the late Mac Cook. She will be lovingly remembered by niece Heather and nephew Stuart. She is predeceased by her father, Alexander Cook and her mother Florence (nee McMillan). She was active in sports, in particular, skiing and she also enjoyed dancing. She left her native New Brunswick after the second World War and moved to Ottawa where she met her husband Eric.
Friends are invited to visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue (at Richmond) on Friday, December 3 from 5 pm to 8pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, December 4 at 2 pm.
