Michael MacDonald, 48, a long time resident of the Braemore Home, died peacefully surrounded by his 4B family at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, on Thursday, June 18, 2009.
At the Braemore and on 4B, Michael is remembered by the staff as a quiet and kind boy with a very endearing manner. He was a gentle soul who loved music and could always be found with a musical toy tucked close by his side. He held a special place in our hearts and provided us with many opportunities to smile. Michael, we’re sad you are gone, but we know you are at peace and you are a special angel in heaven.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital at a later date. Interment in St. Anne’s Cemetery, Glace Bay.
