Passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family, our beautiful mother Verna Audrey Peach (nee Boyd) formerly of Tizzard's Harbour, aged 92 years. Predeceased by her husband Harry (1964) and infant grandson Matthew; brothers: Almon and Sidney; sisters: Ruby and Gladys. Leaving with precious memories her seven children: Maureen Adey (Cyril Murray), Judy (Dave Hefferman), Rosalynd (Fred Hiscock), Eric (Barb), Cal (friend Sharon), Beverley (Stephen Turnbull), Janice (Tony Lannon); fourteen grandchildren: Sherry, Marty, David, Mark, Lori, Andrew, Les, Sarah, Harry, Lisa, Natasha, Adam, Michael and Austin; thirteen great-grandchildren: Melissa, Brandon, Liam, Lucas, Edison, Cailey, Ethan, Kassidy, Madison, Zachary, Logan, Chloe, Mackenzie; as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Friday, December 3rd from 10-12 a.m., 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.; also on Saturday, December 4th from 10-12 noon. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 2 p.m. from Barrett's Chapel. Interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
