Entered into eternal life at McAuley Convent on Dec. 1, 2010, Sister Marie Michael Power, age 86 years. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Mary (Penney) Power of Corner Brook, Newfoundland, brother Basil Power and brother-in-law James McIssac. She will be fondly remembered by her Religious Congregation, the Sisters of Mercy; her sister Cecilia McIssac; sister-in-law Vera Power, many devoted nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Waking at McAuley Convent, 250 Waterford Bridge Road, St. John's on Thursday, Dec. 2 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday until 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010, 9:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish Church, Waterford Bridge Road with interment to follow at the Sisters of Mercy plot in Belvedere Cemetery. May she rest in peace.
