It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Elaine McDonald on Dec. 1, 2010 at the age of 86. Elaine has been a resident of the Lakes of Melbourne for 20 years.
Elaine was the daughter of the late Neil and Virginia Jamieson. She was born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia on March 11, 1924. In 1959, along with her family, she moved to the United States.
Elaine is survived by her husband of 65 years, Frank; son, Neil (Linda); daughter, Anne (Clifton) and brother, Joey (Velda).
She was predeceased by daughters, Karen and Patricia; sister, Lily and brother-in-law Joe Phalen.
Elaine was a loving wife and mother. She will be greatly missed by her son-in-law, Bobby and many grand and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by the many friends she made during her lifetime. Best described by her local physician as as a very nice lady. Her passing will leave a deep void in all our lives.

Mass to be held on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Palm Bay, Florida.
