Lloyd Edwin Boutilier, 78, of Cumberland Bay, NB, passed away on Thursday, December 2nd, 2010 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Dartmouth, NS, he was the son of the late Stewart and the late Olive (née: MacPherson) Boutilier. Mr. Boutilier had retired with 29 years of service from the Canadian Armed Forces, after having served with peacekeeping in Europe, Korea and Egypt. He is survived by five sisters: Selena (Fred) Ford, Olive (late Charles) Barnstead, Josephine (Don) MacKay, Ella (late Martin) Kilby and Doreen Stone, all of Dartmouth, NS, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Simonne and his son, David, both in July 2010 and also by one brother, Ben.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Sunday from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, December 6th, 2010 at 10 am with Rev. Aaron Billard officiating.
