Ray Chuck Mark passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 1st, 2010 at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital. Ray, at the age of 57, beloved husband of Brina for over 34 years. Loving father of Bobby (Diana), Melissa Glasspell (Geoff), Andy (Jill) and Michael (Chantal). Cherished grandfather of Karis, Hanson, Markus, Carter and Robbie. Ray is survived by his mother Jean, his brothers Henry (Lisa), Jim (Mary), Tony (Fanny), and by his sister Helen (Keith), and is predeceased by his father Harvey Mark. Ray was born in Hong Kong on May 29th, 1953. He immigrated to Canada and moved to Saskatoon at the age of 13 in 1967 where he attended and graduated from the Bedford Road High School in 1972. He furthered his education in business at the College of Commerce, at University of Saskatchewan, and met Brina in 1973. Ray and Brina were married shortly after Ray's graduation from college, and the young couple started their family in Saskatoon. They moved to Imperial in 1978 where they operated a pharmacy for several years prior to moving to Caronport in 1992, where their children attended the Christian School and Bible College. In 2006, Ray and Brina moved to Moose Jaw where they had been operating the pharmacy at Valley View Center until 2009. In 2009, they opened the Main St. Pharmacy at Timothy Eaton Gardens. Ray will be remembered for his love of sports and for the love that he expressed to his wife, children and grandchildren. He had given his life to Christ in 1981 and expressed his faith by serving others selflessly with his time, talents and his finances, a legacy that served to inspire all four of his children to follow the Lord. A Funeral Service will be held for Ray on Monday, December 6th, 2010 at Victory Church, 637 Main St. North, Moose Jaw, SK, at 1:00 p.m. with an interment to follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
