1928 - 2010 - Marie-Luce Cormier, 82 of Moncton and formerly of Cocagne, passed away on Friday, December 3rd, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was married to the late Joseph Odilon Cormier (1997). Born in Cocagne on May 21, 1928 she was the daughter of the late Médore and the late Hazele (Cormier) Goguen. She will be sadly missed by her four children, Edith LeBlanc of Moncton, Annette Bastarache (Roméo) of Gardner, MA, Roméo (June) of Templeton, MA, and Euclide (Ann) of Rumford, ME, twenty three grandchildren, twenty nine great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn one sister Victorine Carter of Stephenville, NL, her niece and caretaker Freda Gallant (Oscar) with whom she was residing and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one daughter Jeannine, one son Eddie, one sister Francoise, and four brothers, Bernard, Georges, Paul and Alfred.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Slumber Room, Cocagne on Monday, December 6th, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Tuesday from 9 to 10:45am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Cocagne Church on Tuesday, December 7th, 2010 at 11:00 am with interment in the Saint-Antoine Parish Cemetery. In Marie-Luce's memory donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
