A beautiful life. A beautiful woman. Passed away suddenly in her hometown of Avondale, in a place that was very dear to her heart. Left with countless memories, her children: Mark (Sue), David, Brian and Marie (Shane), and their father Fred. Precious granddaughters: Kate, Sara and Abby; her brother, Tom Moore; sweet cousin Helen Keating and her sister by choice, Anna Mae Myers. She also touched the hearts of her extended family, numerous friends and students. Eternally waiting for her, her mother Mary, father Jim and dear friend Phyllis. Betti was a proud, devoted mother, loving Nan, extraordinary teacher, acknowledged healer; an exceptional woman. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation from 2 - 4 p.m. & 6 - 9 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. Funeral will take place with Mass of Christian Burial at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2009 from Assumption Church, Avondale.
