It is with great sadness that the family of the late Peter Hickey announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Monday, December 6th, 2010 at the age of 53 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his siblings: Bridgett, Lucy, Loretta, Owen, Myles (Susan), Anthony (Crystal), and Ben, his nephews: John, Dustin, Adam, Craig, Randy, Thomas and Matthew, nieces: Lori-Jon and Stacey, as well as a large circle of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his parents: Loretta & Michael Hickey, and brother-in-law Ben Sheehan. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, December 8, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at Our Lady Star of The Sea, Benoit's Cove on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. with Monsignor Edwin Gale officiating. Interment to follow at church cemetery in Benoit's Cove. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to Our lady Star of the Sea church fund.
