BRIDGEVILLE - Anna Cameron MacDonald, age 87, of Bridgeville, passed away Monday, December 6, 2010 at home.
Born in Bridgeville, she was a daughter of the late James W. and Elizabeth (MacKenzie) MacDonald.
She was a dedicated caregiver to her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Pictou County Historical Bottle Club and TOPS.
She is survived by sisters: Katherine "Cass" MacDonald; Shirley Embree; Elizabeth "Betty" MacDonald, all of Bridgeville; chosen daughter, grandniece Stacey Cummings (Matthew Deal); chosen sons, nephew Melvin Cummings (Bev Yorke), great-nephew Todd (Tracey) Cummings; sister-in-law, Edna MacDonald; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by sisters: Isabell Cummings, Jessie MacDonald, Vera MacDonald and one in infancy; brothers: Allister; Robert; Theodore and Billy; nephew, Norman Cummings; great-grandnephew, Alex Cummings.
Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
Funeral service 2 p.m. Thursday in Bridgeville United Church with Rev. Heather Landry officiating. Burial will be in Elgin Cemetery.
