St. George's

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Kathleen Grandy announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing on Monday, December 6, 2010 at the age of 79 years. She will be sadly missed by six sons: Bert (Roseanne) of British Columbia, Gerard (Anne) of Stephenville Crossing, Patrick (Debra) of Saskatchewan, Greg (Melody) of Calgary, John Jr. (Elizabeth) of Saskatchewan, Sean (Annette) of Hamilton, two daughters: Bernadette Goode of St. George's, Annette (Leonard) Alexander of Stephenville Crossing, one brother Lawrence Jr. (Doreen) Hoskins of Alberta, three sisters: Elizabeth (Bessie) Harding of St. Alban's, Pearl (George Collier) of St. Alban's, Theresa (Ronald Perry) of St. Alban's, 13 grandchildren: Gerry, David, Steven, Elizabeth, Allison, Patricia, Richard, Nicole, Melanie, Shaun, Matthew, Jonathan, Michaela, 3 great grandchildren: Marius, Elizabeth, Isaac and a large circle of relatives and friends. Friends may call at St. Joseph's Parish, St. George's on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, December 9th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Parish, St. George's with cremation to follow. Interment will take place on Friday, December 10th. at 2:00 p.m. at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Courthouse Road, St. George's. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Catholic Women's Guild, St. George's would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell's Funeral Home & Crematorium.
