S. Jane Fisher, 93, passed away peacefully, with her loving family at her side, on Sunday, December 5, 2010, at Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born December 18, 1916, in Richibucto, New Brunswick, she was a daughter of the late William and Celeste (Daigle) Long. Jane is survived by her sisters, Mary Christina "Tina" Williams, Hooksett, New Hampshire; Margaret Long, Halifax; step-children, Glenn, Susan, Brooke; several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, C. Evans "Bud" Fisher; sisters, Minnie McNally, Olive Bradley; brothers, Ronald, John and Richard Long.
Private family service and interment has been held. If so desired, donations in Jane's memory to a charity of choice are welcomed.
