1930 - 2010 - Arthur Richard, 80, loving husband of Germaine (Allain) Richard of Dieppe and formerly of Montreal and Sainte-Anne de Kent passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the Pro Tem Health Services, Moncton on Saturday December 4th, 2010. Born in Sainte-Anne de Kent on January 27th, 1930, he was the son of the late Ozias and the late Marguerite (Girouard) Richard. Arthur worked for Pratt & Whitney in Montreal, an Aeronautic firm for 35 yrs, retiring as a foreman. Arthur especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Arthur will be sadly missed by his loving wife Germaine, his four loving children, Diane Richard (Claude Drapeau) of Sainte-Julie, QC, Line Richard (Léo Léger) of Dieppe, Paul (Johanne Roy) of Saint-Donat, QC, and Gilles (Lise St-Amand) of Chambly, QC, and his cherished seven grandchildren; Louis-Philip, Éliane, Karine, Amélie, Émilie, Charles and Dominique. He also leaves to mourn his sister Juliette Daigle (Yvon) of Sainte-Anne de Kent, and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by seven sisters, Rita, Maria, Géraldine, Irène, Oniva, Jeanne-Mance and Rosa and four brothers, Joseph, Ola, Alvin, and René.
Visitations will be held at the Sainte-Anne de Kent Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Anne de Kent on Thursday December 9th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Friday from 12:30 to 1:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Sainte-Anne de Kent Church on Friday December 10th, 2010 at 2:00 pm with internment in the parish cemetery.
