Simpson, Ena Mae Elizabeth, 91, Economy, passed away peacefully June 23, 2009 in Val’s Rest Home, Hilden, N. S. where she received the best care during the last several years of declining health. Born in Economy she was the youngest daughter of the late Osman and Alice (Newton) Taylor. Ena was a life-long resident of Economy and Carrs Brook. She was a member of the Economy United Church and former member of the Rebekah Lodge, (Winona #31). She is survived by her youngest son, Maynard (Susan), Economy; sister, Lillian Fulmer, Halifax, N.S.; granddaughter, Kimberly, Halifax; daughter-in-law, Heather Simpson; grandson, James (Sara) Simpson; four great grandchildren, Austin, Dyllan, Alyssa and Jayden, all of Cranbrooke, B.C.; nephew, Mark (Carol) Fulmer, Dartmouth, N.S.; many cousins. Ena was predeceased by her husband Blanchard; oldest son, Noble and two brothers, Bernard and Arthur. No visitation by request. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 3:00 pm in Economy Cemetery with Rev. Florence Antle-Brison officiating.
