Benjamin Louis Young, 71, passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Fredericton, NB on Sunday, December 5, 2010. He is survived by his wife and life companion of 35 years, Joan, and their children, Anne and James; also survived by sons, Ben, Robert, Harold, Charles and their mother, Rose; son, Kevin; grandchildren, Marilyn, Wesley, Travis, Harrison and Ryan. He was the oldest son of Monica and the late John Young of Miramichi, NB. Besides his mother, he is survived by his brothers, John, Norman, Douglas, David, Donald and Bernard and sisters, Catherine, Janice, Monica and Helen. He was a graduate of Saint Thomas University and was the owner/operator of Ben's Spring Water for 24 years prior to his retirement. Lately, he had a stall at the Boyce Market promoting a uniquely New Brunswick product "Spruce Tea" (EverGreen Tea).
The family will meet with those who wish to offer condolences at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, December 10, 2010 from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at a later date in Miramichi, NB. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
