Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Center in Harbour Breton on Saturday, December 4, 2010, Mr. Hubert Harris, age 84 years of Hermitage. Leaving to mourn his loving family: two sons, Calvin (Mildred) and Ken (Barbara) at Hermitage; one daughter, Margaret Douglas (Bob) at Hermitage; six grandchildren, Kimberley, Kerry, Damian, Scott, Ryan and Jackie; six great grandchildren, Melissa, Robyn, Ryan, Mackenzie, Isabella and Zoe; one brother, Wesley (Donna) at Hermitage-Sandyville; two sisters, Margaret (Lawrence Blagdon) at Coomb's Cove and Lucy Francis at Lunenburg, NS, plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife, Mary, brother, Gordon, and his parents. Funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at 2:00 pm from St. Savior's Anglican Church in Hermitage with Rev. Charles Harris officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery at Hermitage.Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Spencer's Funeral Home.
