William Keith Stewart, 92, Kelmer Drive, Sydney River, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late John and Elizabeth (Cameron) Stewart.
Keith was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church and the Riverview Y's Mens Club. He was retired from Devco.
Surviving are his sons, Alan (Louise), Coxheath and David (Susan), Sackville, N.B.; grandchildren, Tracy (Greg), Melanie (Jeff) Slipp, Keith (Suzanne), Austin (Emily) and Anne; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Keith was predeceased by his wife, Thelma (July 2009) and sisters, Ruth, Myrtle and Joanne.
Visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday 2 p.m., with Rev. Robert Lyle officiating. Interment in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens, New Glasgow.
