Alfred Clayton Joseph Chisholm, age 67, of Orion Ave., New Glasgow, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2009 at home.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Ernest and Annie (Delaney) Chisholm. He was a retired mechanic. He is survived by his wife, the former Rita Chisholm; daughter, Anne Marie (Ben) Cummings, Pictou Landing; sons, Robert Allan (Joanne), Lawrencetown; Kevin Patrick (Ramona), Cole Harbour; nine grandchildren; five step grandchildren; sisters, Joan (Jack) Connors, New Glasgow; Katie (Tim) Fitzpatrick, Westville; Ileen (John) Chisholm, Antigonish; brother, Alex, Florida.
He was predeceased by brothers, Ernest, John, Clarence and Willy in infancy.
There will be no visitation by request. A private family service will be held in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home New Glasgow with Father Gary MacPherson officiating.
